Onteora Mountain House - Summer 2009

This Onteora wedding was on June 13th a day after our 5-year anniversary. We got the sweetest note from the couple and Mother of the Bride wishing us a happy anniversary while making theirs so special.
The Bride picked the bouquet colors and the dresses were a beautiful shade of blue. She wanted the flowers we used to be purples and oranges.

The day started off misty as if it was going to rain but turned out to be a beautiful day. As I always say, Knock on Wood, “it has never rained on our Onteora weddings”.

For the centerpieces we alternated three sets (don’t we always). We used an Urn, Wooden Crate, and a Birds Nest. I always liked these arrangements. We used grapes with grape leaves, Fern, Spider Mums, purple Stock, Roses, Hypericum berries, Lilies, Orchids, and little faux birds.

The Registration was an old screen door (after this wedding many have requested a similar look).

In addition, we did their rehearsal dinner at the Emerson Lodge. You can see examples under “Rehearsal Dinner” on this Blog. Check out the post, you will like what you see.
