Round Hill House Weddings in August
I never made it to these two weddings so this post will be short. I also only got photos of the centerpieces for one wedding. The other wedding Steve added to the centerpieces at the location so I thought I would wait to get the professional photos.
This photo is of a Bridesmaids bouquet. We used Sumatra Lilies they are the darkest you can find. We also used green Celosia also known as Coxcomb, pink Stock, Amnesia Roses, and white Lisianthus.
The Maid of Honor bouquet had pink Cymbidium Orchids, lavender stock, white Scabiosa flowers; white Ranunculus, Amnesia Roses and Scabiosa Pods.
The Brides Bouquet had white Ranunculus, pale pink Stock, and pink Cymbidium Orchids, white Freesia, white Scabiosa flowers, Scabiosa Pods, Amnesia Roses and raspberry Zinnias.
Here are two photos of different sized centerpieces in mercury glass. They both had green Hydrangea, orange and yellow Mokara Orchids, ivory Stock, Pin Cushion Protea and Ivy.

There was only one Brides bouquet for the second wedding. Here we used ivory Stock, peach Parrot Tulips, white Lisianthus, apricot and white Ranunculus, ivory Dahlia, Brunia, white Freesia, Stars of Bethlehem, Tweedia, Lady’s Mantle and Scabiosa Pods.

Round Hill House -May Wedding
We just finished two May weddings:
This wedding was at Round Hill House in Washingtonville. As we always do, we alternated centerpieces. We love to alternate because it makes the room more interesting for everyone. Couples may have many ideas and cannot decide what styles they should choose. We encourage mixing things up.
Here we alternated a wooden stump that was on a mossed plate with flowers all over. The couple used colored Butterflies to identify their tables and wanted these Butterflies on each centerpiece.
The other tables had tall candelabra’s with lichen branches, Orchids and hanging votives. We used three small bubble bowls at each base with Orchids and Ivy. I loved the branch we found and hope to use it repeatedly all summer..JPG)
The third set was an Urn with lots of green and an Artichoke. We use these Urns often because many people like them. They are so nice and elegant with an antique feel. They are so versatile and can look good with all colors and styles. You will see them often on our Blog.

Brides Bouquet
Brides Bouquet for March wedding. Bouquet with Iris, Anemone, Hyacinth, Calla Lily, Tulip, Stock, Roses and Fiddle Head Fern. The colors of these bouquets remind me of a watercolor painting or a Monet.
Centerpieces
The differences with these centerpieces are the colors of the Roses. We used many spring flowers in black ceramic vases. It seems as though this is part of a trend. The black squares create a nice neutral place to work with. Brings the colors of the flowers out.
